"Newspaper" is very important material in modern society. It can contribute to build community identity and help to share common inspire among people. When we had no newspaper, we can share information only by oral communication on the market place which was hold every 5 days. After newspaper appeared in the late 19th century, we Korean can share news national widely. By the column in the newspaper, we can get similar opinion on certain issue. But during the Japanese colonial period, newspapers fell down one of the mean to rule over Korea by imperial Japan. Some newspapers agitated Korean independence movement, but they can not last long time. After liberation, we have our own country and government. But for the ruling party, controlling the newspaper is a key factor to manipulate public opinions. In the limited condition, the newspaper was used for Brain cleaning. Because in the rural, people believe the news or writings in the newspaper were definitely true. Official is always true, and there was no room for private opinions. In these days, paper newspaper is shrinking down. For the influence of widely spread internet network, we can easily access internet news(i-news) for free. And there are many blogs or internet cafes which could supply a variety range of news of opinions. Online communities were strengthened by hectic conversation in online of offline meetings. the government or the ruling regime can not censor all the news. Now thre are multilateral communication and swaying public opinion is difficult. When some tries to agitate certain issue, they could face counterforces. In conclusion, in my opinion, the i-news plays a leading part in building diversity in our community. Even though sometimes wrong information could lead us wrong direction, the diversity would make our society healthier.
News is important in the opposite sense. If there is no news, we repeated the infinite life of the past, and if we rely on news that the truth lies buried on the ground to receive the information they've decided to buy. So news that contains a lie, but paradoxically contains the truth. We already can not escape news of the mesh. So the news does not accept it if you think that you need to read. Earthquake killed hundreds of thousands of Haiti and other countries and international organizations to support the structure and are flocking to Haiti News, Obama, the United States will not abandon the people of Haiti News, Haiti earthquake ruined the appearance of conveying news, but Haiti was already in ruins before the earthquake was the same place. There are many news around me. it pours everyday. Some of them are meaningfulless to me. but news is important because it gives me many imformation which happened around me. And I can judge something by using it. We are social being, we cann't live without social relation. We can't help influencing each other. So news is useful to understand others who is around me.
